Suzanne is a visual artist, Gestalt therapist and recovering academic, with a PhD in academic creativity. She has worked in a number of community arts environments, painting murals with patients in psychiatric institutions, prisoners (at the former Pentridge Prison), First Nations people (Alice Springs) and university students (La Trobe University). Her recent PhD research found links between creative activity and enhanced wellbeing; those conditions that generate creativity are incorporated into her teaching practice where possible.
